Sigrid has unveiled her new single ‘Don’t Feel Like Crying’, the latest track to emerge from her forthcoming debut album.
Ahead of releasing her debut ‘Sucker Punch’ on March 8, the new track gives us another idea of what to expect – and it’s one of her most emotionally resilient tracks yet.
“There’s a certain grace to heartache,” said Sigrid of the new track. “A sort of…epic grace! I like good, heartfelt pop songs.”
It follows on directly from the album’s title track, which was released in October last year.
Speaking to NME last year, Sigrid kept her cards close when asked what fans could expect from the debut record.
“I want to be a bit secretive about it, not because I’m told to but because it’s this borderline sacred process of making something,” she said.
“It’s like my baby and I want to protect it until it’s out. Date-wise, it’s out when it’s finished. I’m working on it, mostly with the same producers and writers. It’s just a very collaborative process,” she added.
“It’s very exciting.”
Later this year, she’ll also join George Ezra on his biggest UK tour to date – taking in venues such as Manchester Arena and London’s O2 Arena.
