Sigrid has released her second new song this month in the form of ‘I Don’t Want To Know’ – check out the track below.
The rising Norwegian artist – who was tipped by the NME 100 as one of the most essential new acts of 2018 before she was then crowned as the winner of the BBC’s Sound Of… poll – has followed up the release of ‘Raw’ earlier this month by treating fans to a new track this week.
‘I Don’t Want To Know’ premiered earlier today (March 27) on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show as the DJ’s ‘World Record’.
Speaking about the track – which you can hear below via Spotify or elsewhere here – Sigrid revealed a little about some of the creative ideas around ‘I Don’t Want To Know’.
“It’s exciting for me to release ‘I Don’t Want To Know’ as it shows another side of my music,” she explained. “Jamie Hartman and I wrote this song reflecting on growing up, drawing inspiration from what we believe many young people experience.”
Sigrid will be touring throughout 2018 – you can see her scheduled live gigs below, and visit here for tickets and more information.
