SIGUR ROS have announced details of a comprehensive European tour for spring, including a date at the LONDON SHEPHERD’S BUSH EMPIRE on April 24.

The band will tour extensively across mainland Europe throughout April, before ending their tour with a one-off London show. The band will play: Amsterdam Paradiso (April 1)

It is anticipated that more European shows will be announced soon. Following the London show, the band will fly out to the US with a string quartet, where they will start their first ever American tour.

The band also plans to start recording the follow-up to ‘Agaetis Byrjun’ in their native Reykjavik later in the year.

Prior to the tour, Sigur Ros’ debut UK EP is to be re-released on March 26 on CD, vinyl and DVD. The single will feature the songs ‘Svefn-G-Englar’ and ‘Virar Vel Til Loftrsa’ from the ‘Agaetis Byrjun’ album, as well as new song ‘Nja lagi’. The DVD version also carries the video for ‘Svefn-G-Englar’.
