Simian Mobile Disco, Yeasayer support US indie radio

Bands sign on for 'Free Yr Radio' campaign

Simian Mobile Disco and Yeasayer are set to kick off the Free Yr Radio campaign with a performance at Austin’s South by Southwest Festival on March 12.

The annual concert series, sponsored by Toyota Yaris and Urban Outfitters, benefits non-commercial US radio stations that support independent programming.

In addition, each day from March 13-15, Minnesota independent radio station The Current will broadcast live from SXSW at the Free Yr Radio Broadcast Corner at Red River Street and 7th Street.
