Sinead O’Connor sparks concern for her welfare after issuing cry for help on Twitter

Singer claims she feels 'really unwell and in danger'

Sinead O’Connor has sparked concern for her welfare again after tweeting “I’m really unwell and in danger.”

In a series of posts that began earlier today (January 11), O’Connor sent an appeal to her fans asking for help.

In one tweet on her account she stated:

Does anyone know a psychiatrist in Dublin or Wicklow who could urgently see me today please?

She then sent out an e-mail address and asked fans to send her recommendations, writing: “I don’t want to leave my kids. Or fuck up my work. I’m sorry for worrying anyone. It’s just I’m sick and Ireland is shit for finding help. Can’t think of any other way.”

O’Connor’s latest cry for help comes one week after she announced that she and her new husband, Barry Herridge, had reconciled after calling off their marriage just days after tying the knot in Las Vegas.

Last September she wrote similarly bleak tweets about having suicidal thoughts.

The singer is set to release a new album, ‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’, on February 20, and will embark on an UK tour in March.
