Get well soon, Elton.
Sir Elton John was forced to cancel a concert in Orlando, Florida last night (November 27) due to an ear infection.
The singer, 71, was due to play the Amway Centre as part of his mammoth ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour’.
Attendees were waiting for the star’s concert to begin when the announcement was made. The venue later released a statement: “We’re sorry to announce that due to an ear infection, Elton John is unable to perform tonight.

“The rescheduled Orlando date will be announced in the near future so please hold onto your tickets.”
People took to social media to spread rumours that there was a possible bomb threat at the venue.
But the Amway Centre wrote on Twitter, “There was never a bomb threat. As we have stated from the outset, tonight’s show was cancelled due to an ear infection. All other explanations are unfounded.”
Fans sent Elton ‘get well soon’ messages while others aired their frustration at the last minute cancellation.
Sir Elton’s 300-date tour, which began in September, is slated to be his last.
The singer is the star of John Lewis’ 2018 Christmas advert, which features reconstructed snapshots of his longstanding career set to his poignant 1970 tune, ‘Your Song’.
Taron Egerton will portray Sir Elton in the film.
