SISQO swept the boards, winning six gongs at last night’s (December 5) BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS, held at the MGM GRAND ARENA in LAS VEGAS.
*N Sync, Destiny’s Child, Faith Hill and Dixie Chicks were hot on his heels, each scooping four awards.
Sisqo’s awards included Male Hot 100 Singles Artist Of The Year, New Male Artist Of The Year, R&B/Hiphop Singles Artist Of The Year, and R&B/Hiphop Artist Of The Year, while *N Sync’s awards included Albums Duo/Group Of The Year and Album Of The Year for ‘No Strings Attached’.
The glittering ceremony included performances from *N Sync (performing ‘Just Got Paid’ from ‘No Strings Attached’), Barry Williams (Greg Brady in ‘The Brady Bunch’, performing ‘The Real Greg Brady’), and Destiny’s Child (in medley mode).
