Skepta was joined by Novelist on stage during his Glastonbury set.

The grime MC, whose real name is Joseph Adenuga, was making his debut appearance on the Pyramid Stage, the festival’s main stage.

Novelist joined him on stage for the track ‘Lyrics’, which features on Skepta’s debut album ‘Konnichiwa’. You can watch footage of the performance below.

Later in the set, Skepta made the crowd form a pit for ‘It Ain’t Safe’ and one of his crew rode a bike across the stage.

Fans watching the performance lit a pink flare in the crowd, while praise flooded in for the rapper online once his set was over.

“@skepta is killing it at #Glasto2016,” wrote one fan, while DJ Benji B said: “Watching @Skepta just light up Glastonbury on the legendary Pyramid stage has lifted my day. Respect.”

Skepta tweeted “”Make it rain on em, pour champagne on em”” shortly after leaving the stage.
