Skepta announces baby news with sonogram picture

Congratulations!

Skepta has appeared to reveal that he and his partner are expecting a child.

The rapper, who won the 2016 Mercury Music Prize for ‘Konnichiwa’, shared the news in an Instagram post on Monday (July 30).

A sonogram of the baby’s face is pictured, captioned with a red rose emoji.

The scan reads ‘Baby Adenuga’.

Some of the comments below the picture include: “Ayyyyyyyyy there is no future for a kingdom without a heir @skeptagram ???”,  and “CHAMPION ?✨”.

Skepta, whose real name is Joseph Adenuga, has been rumoured to be dating supermodel Naomi Campbell. Other reports claim that he has a secret long-term girlfriend.

Adenuga and Campbell appeared together on the front cover of British GQ’s March issue.

The pair posed semi-naked, sparking rumours that they are an item.

In other recent news, Skepta was credited – along with Wiley– as a composer on Kanye West’s ‘I Thought About Killing You’, the opening track on ‘ye’.
