Skrillex, Flying Lotus, FKA Twigs and Duran Duran have all been added to the Sónar festival bill
The three-day event will take place from June 18-20 in Barcelona, and the new acts join already announced performances and sets from The Chemical Brothers, Kate Tempest, Kindeness, Autechre, Evian Christ, Daniel Avery, Sophie, Tourist and more.
Other new acts on the bill include Die Antwoord, Arca & Jesse Kanda, Laurent Garnier, Redinho, Cashmere Cat, The Bug, Young Lean & Sad Boys, Róisín Murphy and Hot Chip, Jamie xx, Maya Jane Coles and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Last year The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands hinted at what to expect from his acts’ appearance. “The show will be an intense ride, hold tight,” he said. “We dream of new sounds and different frames, both music and visual. We hope to amaze ourselves.”
Last year’s instalment saw the likes of Four Tet, Caribou, Chic, Massive Attack, Todd Terje and more perform at the Spanish event.
