A slice of the atmospheric track ‘Face My Fears’ soundtracks gameplay footage, which was unveiled earlier today (November 9). After opening with delicate piano, the cut then introduces glitchy synth and electronic drums. Both an English and Japanese version have been released.
While Square Enix’s action role-playing game isn’t set for release until January 25, fans will be able to purchase the full single from January 18.
Back in September, Kindom Hearts revealed that the Grammy Award-winning musician – who is a “long-time Kindom Hearts fan” – was originally meant to remix Hikaru’s ‘Don’t Think Twice’. However, due to the pair’s friendship, the project “developed into a new and original collaboration”.

‘Don’t Think Twice’ will now feature as the game’s main theme.
Kingdom Hearts is described as “the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure”, which is “set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds”.
Meanwhile, Skrillex was recently ordered to pay a fan over $1.6M in compensation by a jury following an injury at a gig.
It was reported that the damages followed an injury lawsuit made by Jennifer Fraissl, who sued the DJ in February 2014. Fraissl claimed that she suffered a stroke after Skrillex stage-dived on top of her during a performance in Los Angeles.
