US pop star reveals she is now working with Troy Carter
Carter’s working relationship with Gaga in 2013 and has subsequently taken on new clients including John Mayer, Miguel and John Legend. Announcing her new manager via Facebook, Ferreira wrote: “I’m now managed by Troy Carter & atom factory. New year, new beginnings. So excited.”
Late last year Lady Gaga claimed she was “betrayed” and “mismanaged” by the people around her, resulting in the delays and problems she faced with her latest album ‘ARTPOP’.
Writing in a message to fans, Gaga explained: “Those who have betrayed me gravely mismanaged my time and health and left me on my own to damage control any problems that ensued as a result. Millions of dollars are not enough for some people. They want billions. Then they need trillions. I was not enough for some people. They wanted more.”
Meanwhile, Ferreira’s debut album ‘Night Time, My Time’ will be released in the UK on March 17. The album has finally been given a UK release date after coming out Stateside last year. It will be put out on the Polydor label. Ferreira recently discussed her approach to feminism with NME, saying she feels like she’s doing a bad job if she’s not making someone angry.
