Slaves recruit EastEnders’ Barry Evans for ‘Cheer Up London’ video – watch

Actor Shaun Williamson lines up alongside punk duo in promo for their new single

Former EastEnders actor Shaun Williamson, known for playing the character Barry Evans in the BBC soap, appears in the new Slaves video.

Williamson plays an ice-cream man in the video, which you can see above. The character of Barry Evans appeared in the London based drama from 1994 until 2004, when he was killed off by wife Janine Butcher. Since then Williamson has gone on to make various TV appearances, including a starring role in Ricky Gervais’ Extras.

Slaves release debut album ‘Are You Satisfied?’ on June 1 and kicked off their UK tour in Portsmouth this week (May 5). See their remaining dates in full below. Slaves were one of four bands on the NME Awards Tour 2015 with Austin, Texas, alongside headliners Palma Violets, Fat White Family and The Wytches.
