Gerard Way and Sarah Silverman among guests in Sleater-Kinney’s ‘No Cities To Love’ video – watch

Karaoke style video also features stars of Orange Is The New Black, Nashville and The Walking Dead

Sleater-Kinney have recruited a number of celebrity guests, including Gerard Way and comedian Sarah Silverman, for the video to new song ‘No Cities To Love’.

Each of the guest stars performs the song down the lens of a web cam, with many recording their parts in theor homes or offices. Other guest stars in the video include J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr plus actors Andy Samberg, Fred Armisen, Ellen Page, Evan Rachel Wood, Connie Britton, Brie Larson, Natasha Lyonne, Vanessa Bayer and Norman Reedus.

‘No Cities To Love’ features on Sleater-Kinney’s new album of the same name. The album will be released on January 19. The band will tour America in February before arriving in Europe in March, taking in London, Manchester and Glasgow. See below for full tour dates.

Sleater-Kinney released seven albums between 1995 and 2005 with their self-titled debut album being followed by ‘Call The Doctor’, ‘Dig Me Out’, ‘The Hot Rock’, ‘All Hands On The Bad One’ and ‘One Beat’. The band’s most recent album, ‘The Woods’, was released in 2005.
