‘BAD’ GIRLS SLAY THE UK

But, contrary to billing, the female trio will not be playing the Carling Weekend Festivals...

Sleater-Kinney, who release their new single ‘ALL HANDS ON THE BAD ONE’ on July 31, have confirmed seven UK tour dates in the run-up to its release.

Contrary to the advertised bill, Sleater-Kinney will not be playing at Carling Weekend Festivals at Reading and Leeds, and a spokeswoman said they had never actually been confirmed: “Their names were on the ads for Reading and Leeds, but they weren’t confirmed and due to their touring commitments they wouldn’t have been able to fulfil the dates.”

She also said they had never agreed to appear at the Berkshire Truckfest on July 22, on whose bill they had also been included.
