Sleigh Bells post trailer for new album ‘Reign Of Terror’ online – watch

Duo tease information about their second LP

Sleigh Bells have posted a trailer online for their new album ‘Reign Of Terror’ – scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch.

The duo posted the video, which sees singer Alexis Krauss glamming up in front of a mirror interspersed with onstage and behind-the-scenes footage of the band, on their new website

Although the video doesn’t mention when the album will be released, guitarist Derek Miller claimed earlier this year that the LP should be out in early 2012.

Miller, who also said that the band would be entering the studio to begin work on the follow-up to their debut album ‘Treats’ in June of this year, also promised that the new material would be less like “party music” than its predecessor.

“I think the new stuff differs from ‘Treats’, it’s an emotionally really heavy record,” he said. “Some of the stuff on ‘Treats’ is party music and that’s definitely not the case with this one.”

But Krauss also claimed that the album would be “immense” and the band would be staying faithful to their trademark loudness.

In February of this year, Sleigh Bells teamed up in the studio with Beyonce and producer Diplo, but said they were unsure whether the collaboration would ever be released.
