Singer tweets that the Iowa metallers have booked a US tour
Corey Taylor has confirmed that Slipknot will play more live shows this year.
The singer, who has previously refused to be drawn on the possibility of further touring and recording with the band beyond a show at Brazil’s Rock In Rio festival later this year, has now revealed that they’ve got a US tour lined up.
Whole bunch of things being plotted. More solo/book tours in Europe and US, new Stone Sour album, a US Slipknot tour. Going to be busy!
The singer has always been cagey about the band’s long term future and the possibility of recording a fifth studio album without bassist Paul Gray, who passed away last year, but this new tour would appear to suggest that plans are made for the band to have a future beyond their European tour this summer.
Corey Taylor is currently promoting his first book Seven Deadly Sins which has been universally well received.
