'The Unholy Alliance' hits the road this autumn....

SLIPKNOT and Slayer are following up their superhero routine at DOWNLOAD with a joint European tour.

Respective drummers Joey Jordison and Dave Lombardo saved the day at the Donington festival last weekend by stepping in after Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich suffered a ‘medical emergency’.

Now, the two hard rock bands have joined together for ‘The Unholy Alliance’ tour this autumn.


Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor said: “Two bands, two tribes, one tour that is going to lay waste to the entire continent of Europe. The ashes left behind will be made up of clenched fists and satisfied smiles. As of right now, no-one is safe. Be ready!”
