Singer describes honour of working with Dave Grohl and desire to collaborate with Trent Reznor
Taylor recently spoke in interview with Sweden’s RockSverige, describing the projects and collaborations that he is involved in at the moment.
“I’ve a couple of that I’m gonna be a part of right now, and I won’t say any names, but it’s even more diverse than the stuff that I’ve done before,” Taylor said.
“That’s what attracts me musically and artistically — doing stuff that you wouldn’t normally hear with both bands [Slipknot and side-project Stone Sour.”
Taylor went on to name the prospect of working with both Eminem and Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor as two dream collaborations.
“I mean, there’s a lot of people,” he said. “Everybody from Trent Reznor – I would love to work with Trent – to… I was just thinking about this the other day… I would love to do something with Eminem. I would love to trade some stuff back and forth with him, because I love the way he writes and the way he flows and the attitude; you know, the emotion that’s in it. And I’m very, very attracted to that. And I would love to do something where we kind of go back and forth. Will it ever happen? Probably not. But, you know, it’s still a dream.”
“I never thought I’d get to work with Dave Grohl, so you just never know,” Taylor added of his recent stint in the Teenage Time Killers supergroup, which also featured Grohl.

Taylor recently said that Slipknot’s next album will be their version of The Beatles’ ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, and will be a double album with an accompanying film, adding that the band are working on being “five steps ahead of the game”.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Eminem’s sister-in-law died following a suspected heroin overdose in her trailer park home earlier this month.
