They'll play three more nights in San Francisco
The Smashing Pumpkins have just added three new dates to their two-city US residency this summer.
Beginning June 24, they’ll play eight shows in Asheville, North Carolina and an additional 10 shows at San Francisco’s Fillmore Auditorium, increased from the original seven because of overwhelming demand.
The newly added San Francisco dates are July 15, 16, and 18.
The band will play tracks from their forthcoming album, ‘Zeitgeist’, as well as older material, and reportedly plan to perform songs that they write on the day of each show.
The newly reunited band will release their forthcoming album on July 10, as previously announced.
In other news, ‘Tarantula’ — the first single from ‘Zeitgeist’ — premiered on Los Angeles radio station KROQ on Friday (May 18), and will receive a wider release this week.
