Smashing Pumpkins have announced their last ever UK tour dates, having announced earlier this year are to split once all promotional duties for their current album ‘MACHINA/THE MACHINES OF GOD’ have been completed.
The band will play: Glasgow SECC (October 30) Manchester Apollo (31) Birmingham NEC (November 1) Wembley Arena (3)
Tickets, priced at #20, will go on sale from 9am this Thursday (June 22).
Formed in 1989 in Chicago, the Pumpkins releasesd five albums including this year’s ‘MACHINA/The Machines Of God’, before announcing plans to split.
On announcing the split to Californian radio station KROQ earlier this year, Billy Corgan said: “We felt that before the start of this album that we had sort of come to the end of our road – emotionally, spiritually, musically.”
