SMASHING PUMPKINS PLAY LONDON DATE IN MAY

Smashing Pumpkins have announced they will play Shepherd's Bush Empire in late May...

Smashing Pumpkins have lined up a concert at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on May 23 to coincide with their new LP ‘Adore’ which is released by Hut on May 25.

The show is part of a ten-week European and US tour and it’s rumoured that the band are planning to play short sets featuring only material from the new album and a couple of early Pink Floyd covers. Billy Corgan (above) performed a version of Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ with the Floyd’s Dave Gilmour when he inducted them into the Rock’N’Roll Hall Of Fame last year.

The Pumpkins will be joined by renowned drummer Kenny Aronoff for the tour. He’s known for his longtime association with John Cougar Mellancamp and is currently touring with former Creedence Clearwater Revival mainman John Fogerty.
