Smashing Pumpkins have launched an Internet-based radio station that will stream previously unavailable live and early recordings.
Fans can access the station through the Pumpkins official website at [url=]www.smashingpumpkins.com. The live recordings run from shows recorded during the early ’90s up to the current ‘Sacred and Profane Tour’.
Also on the site is ‘Chards of Glass’, Billy Corgan’s cryptic tour diary. Sixteen entries are included from late April through to late July.
And fans can also find ‘Glass and the Synthetic Army part III’, the third and final instalment in the story behind the making of Smashing Pumpkins most recent album ‘MACHINA/the machines of god’.
The ‘Sacred and Profane Tour’, which the Smashing Pumpkins have consistently said will be their last, rolls into the UK on October 30, taking in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and two nights in London.
