Smashing Pumpkins share new song ‘Drum + Fife’ – listen

The band will promote their new album 'Monuments To An Elegy' at London's KOKO on December 5

Smashing Pumpkins have shared another new song from their forthcoming new album ‘Monuments To An Elegy’, which comes out on December 8.

Click above to listen to ‘Drum + Fife’, which follows ‘Tiberius’, ‘One And All’ and ‘Being Beige’. The record features drumming by Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee and follows 2012’s ‘Oceania’, which was the band’s first LP in five years.

It was recently revealed that members of The Killers and Rage Against The Machine are set to join Smashing Pumpkins for their forthcoming live shows. The Killers‘ bassist Mark Stoermer and Rage Against The Machine‘s drummer Brad Wilk will play with Billy Corgan and Jeff Schroeder for a limited number of dates as the band launch their new album. “We’re absolutely thrilled and humbled to have Brad and Mark helping us out with these shows,” said Corgan, “and if our rehearsals are any indication, they should be one of a kind.”

The handful of shows will include a one-off UK date at London’s KOKO on December 5. Shows will also take place in New York, Paris and Berlin, with San Francisco and Chicago gigs to be announced.

The ‘Monuments To An Elegy’ tracklisting is:

‘Being Beige’
‘One and All (We Are)’
‘Drum + Fife’
