The producer had revealed earlier this year that Snoop was in the studio recording an all-reggae album. He also let slip that the West Coast rapper would be singing on the record.

Celebrating the release on Twitter, Snoop Dogg tweeted:

Earlier this year, Snoop Snoop said he would be “reborn” on his next album. The hip-hop star said that despite being 11 solo albums into his career, his fans have yet to see the real him, but he hopes that will change with his next record.

“This record gives me an opportunity to the world of the stadium,” he said. “Those are the kind of songs that last 40, 50 years.” He released his last album, ‘Doggumentary’, in March 2011.
