CHRISTMAS (W)RAPPING!

The rapper gets into the festive spirit...

SNOOP DOGG has gotten into the seasonal spirit by making a Christmas single available for download on the Internet.

The rapper has posted the track ‘This Is How We Kick It On Christmas’, replete with “Ho ho ho’s…” on [url=]www.westside2real.com. The track does not feature on forthcoming album ‘Tha Last Meal’.

And the mystery around the appearance of ‘Tha Last Meal’ on the website for Death Row Records, Snoop’s former home, remains unresolved. As reported earlier on NME.COM, (November 29) Death Row took the highly illegal step of making the entire album, owned by Snoop’s current label No Limit, available for download on [url=]www.deathrowrecords2000.com. Neither No Limit nor Death Row spokespeople have been available for comment, though the Death Row site is temporarily inaccessible.

Meanwhile, Death Row Records have re-issued their 1996 Christmas compilation ‘Christmas On Death Row’. The album, which features Santa in a black hood sitting on an electric chair on its cover art, includes Snoop Dog and other Death Row names such as Nate Dogg, Guess and 6 Feet Deep doing both ‘Frosty The Snowman’ and ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’.
