Dr. Dre, George Clinton and MC Ren all sing for their supper...

SNOOP DOGG is set to release ‘THE LAST MEAL’, his second studio album of the year, in December through NO LIMIT.

The album, his second solo offering for No Limit though fifth in total, has been provisionally slated for release in the UK on December 18 and on the following day in the US. Produced by Dr. Dre with assistance from new Beck chum and renowned producer Timbaland, it features collaborations with Funkadelic legend George Clinton, NWA’s MC Ren, Nate Dogg and No Limit label boss Master P.

‘Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz’, the rapper’s first long player of the year, peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200 in February.

Snoop is also set to hit the big screen during autumn 2001 in ‘Bones’, a feature film about a ghost who returns to his old neighbourhood to avenge his 20-year old murder.

Meanwhile, Master P (real name Percy Miller), the No Limit founder, is being sued by his local Louisiana bank over an unpaid loan.

Associated Press report that Bank One filed a suit in East Baton Rouge Parish during late October alleging the label boss owed $739,000 on a May 1999 loan.

The label, which also counts the rapper Mystikal on its roster, has yet to respond to the claim.
