Snoop Dogg teams up with Hulk Hogan on ‘WWE Raw’ – watch

Rapper’s new album 'Bush' has been produced entirely by Pharrell Williams and is due out in May

Snoop Dogg took to the ring on WWE’s Monday Night Raw (March 23).

Appearing on the last Raw before Wrestlemania 31, Snoop Dogg was challenged by wrestler Chris Axel, who shouted as he approached the rapper: “I’m not gonna sit back and listen to you talk about Snoopmania when Axelmania is running wild.”

In a surprise twist, Snoop Dogg invites Hulk Hogan to join him. The pair teamed up to take down Axel, with Snoop throwing the wrestler out of the ring. Watch Snoop Dogg and Hulk Hogan below:

Snoop Dogg’s new album ‘Bush’ is due out in May. The album has been produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. A video teaser was recently released of Snoop Dogg and Pharrell grooving in the studio in the run up to the album’s release.

‘Bush’ features appearances from Stevie Wonder and The Gap Band vocalist Charlie Wilson, who appears on the LP’s first single ‘Peaches N Cream’. “I felt like him and Pharrell together would be magic,” said Snoop.

Snoop Dogg is also developing a television series about 1980s Los Angeles for US network HBO.

The rapper announced the news as part of his keynote talk at SXSW Music 2015 on March 20 iin Austin, Texas. The television show will be set in and around the west coast of north America, where Snoop Dogg grew up and honed his musical craft. The show will look at a “family whose seemingly idyllic life is turned upside down by the collision of their community and American politics”.
