He's been described as "a man of the ages" by the organisation who commission the stars
Snoop Dogg is to be honoured with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later this month.
The 47-year-old’s life and career is being recognised by the esteemed Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, with the organisation citing his various vocations – including his charity work – as the reason for his inclusion.
“Snoop Dogg is one of those people who can do anything. He raps, he acts, he hosts a television show, he cooks, and helps community kids with his philanthropic work,” Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said.
“He is a man of the ages and we welcome him to our Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
The rapper will receive the honour – which’ll be the 2651st star to be laid on Hollywood Boulevard – during a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 19.
The eponymous chat show host will be on hand to honour Snoop, along with Leron Gubler, the president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Snoop released his sixteenth studio album, ‘Bible of Love’, back in March. Last month, Snoop teased a collaboration with Eminem after posting a photo of the pair of them working in the studio.
Last week, Snoop shared video footage of himself smoking a blunt outside The White House in Washington D.C. before then declaring “Fuck the President”.
