TSUNAMI BENEFIT GIG A SELL-OUT!

All 60,000 tickets are snapped up - just days after going on sale...

Tickets for the forthcoming LIVE AID style concert in CARDIFF have completely sold out.

The last of the 60,000 tickets for show at the Millennium Stadium were snapped up last night (January 10), just three days after going on sale.

But organisers are considering the possibility of releasing further tickets if they can raise the capacity for the January 22 gig.

Stadium manager Paul Sergeant said: “All profits will go to the Tsunami Relief Fund. We are now looking at the production details and hopefully we will be able to release more tickets in the next few days.”

Organisers hope to raise to raise £1 million for victims of the disaster, which hit on Boxing Day (December 26).

The stadium is expected to hold up to 65,000 on the day of the event, with proceedings kicking off at 2pm.

Confirmed acts for the bill so far include, Manic Street Preachers, Badly Drawn Boy, Embrace, [a][/a], Eric Clapton, Feeder and Lemar.
