A member of the SO SOLID CREW collective has been remanded in custody on gun charges.
Rapper G-Man from the chart-topping garage crew faces charges of possessing a firearm with ammunition.
G-Man – real name Jason Joab Phillips – was arrested by plain clothes police officers in central London on Thursday night.
Twenty-four year-old Phillips, who describes himself as a publishing company director, appeared at Bow Street Magistrates Court in London. His girlfriend and fellow band member, Lisa Maffia, sat in the public gallery during the hearing.
Phillips was refused bail and remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court again next week.
So Solid Crew reached Number One with ’21 Seconds’ last year. G-Man is the group’s executive producer.
