SO SOLID CREW GIG SHOOTINGS – WAS ROBBERY THE MOTIVE?

One victim is still in a serious condition and could lose his leg...

Detectives investigating the double shooting at the SO SOLID CREW show in LONDON’s ASTORIA (October 31) believe robbery was the motive, it has been claimed.

Two men in their 20s were shot in the leg as the band performed at a 21st birthday party for group member Romeo. The 22-year-old is in a serious condition and could lose his leg. The 28-year-old is stable. Both are under police guard at an undisclosed central London hospital.

Tonight’s (November 2) London Evening Standard reports a detective in the case saying: “So Solid Crew attract criminal gangs from across London. The gangs see the group wearing Rolex watches and expensive jewellery and are jealous. One victim had a Rolex watch on and although it was not taken we believe robbery was the motive. We are trying to find out why they were shot. It could have been a warning or the gun could have been discharged by accident.”
