Two men are in hospital, one in a serious condition, with gunshot wounds following a birthday party for a member of SO SOLID CREW at LONDON’s ASTORIA club last night (October 31).

One of the men has undergone surgery at an undisclosed central London hospital. He was discovered by police just after 3am this morning (November 1) in the doorway of the Astoria.

Police say the man is in his 20s, but are not releasing his name or extent of his injuries. A police spokesperson told NME.COM that a second man was dropped off by friends a short time later at another central London hospital. He too was suffering from gunshots having been at the same party at the Astoria. His wounds are not life threatening.

The party is understood to have been a 21st Birthday bash for So Solid Crew member Romeo. It is unclear at present, who, if any, of the So Solid Crew members were involved.

The shooting has also put tonight’s rare UK appearance by US band Ozomatli in jeopardy. The police will decide on whether or not it goes ahead a little later this morning.
