After seven months inside, the rapper gets an early release because of his good behaviour...

SO SOLID CREW member ASHER D was due to be released from prison today (October 7) after serving seven months for firearm offences.

The star was jailed on March 4 after pleading guilty to firearms charges at Southwark Crown Court in London. He was sentenced to 18 months on March 25.

Asher, real name Ashley Walters, was sent initially to hardline Feltham Young Offenders And Remand Centre, just outside London. The 19-year-old was then moved to another undisclosed jail.

He was described as a model prisoner and his early release comes because of good behaviour.

The rapper, from Peckham, south London, was charged after an incident involving a traffic warden in July last year in Hanover Square, London. He had a loaded Brocock revolver in his parked car. He has since claimed he carried the gun over fear for the lives of his girlfriend and children.
