Solange Knowles’ business partner Armina Mussa is in a critical condition after being stabbed 10 times.
Mussa, who is 24, was stabbed in an incident that took place on Wednesday (April 8), Billboard reports. A suspect named Arronesia Christophe has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing Mussa outside her home in the St Rocha area of New Orleans.
Knowles is reported to have rushed to New Orleans to be by Mussa’s side following the stabbing and that she also attended Christophe’s first appearance at Orleans Parish Criminal Court on Thursday (April 9).
Mussa is the project director of Knowles’ brand and creative platform, Saint Heron, and co-owner of New Orleans boutique, Exodus Goods.
Mussa was present as Solange married Alan Ferguson at a wedding in New Orleans last year. Sister Beyoncé acted as a bridesmaid. Also in attendance was brother-in-law Jay Z, who Solange famously engaged in a heated argument with in an elevator last May.
