Solange has handpicked a “musical family” to appear alongside in a new Calvin Klein ad campaign.
The musician has been chosen to front the new “Our Family, #MYCALVINS” campaign. Frank Ocean, FKA Twigs and Kendrick Lamar are amongst those who previously appeared in adverts for the brand last year.
The denim and underwear campaign also features Kelela, Dev Hynes, former Chairlift singer Caroline Polachek and Kindness‘ Adam Bainbridge. In the photos shot by Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre, the artists are pictured together against a barn.
Solange took to Instagram to thank the brand and Chief Creative Officer Raf Simons. “Big love to @Calvinklein, Raf Simons, and the whole Calvin team for this moment of celebrating my musical family, and for capturing us so authentically us,” she wrote.

Multiple projects will reportedly follow the “Our Family. #MYCALVINS” campaign through Spring 2018.
In the past year, Solange has also exhibited artwork in New York, Texas and at the Tate Modern in London. She released her latest album ‘A Seat At The Table‘ in 2016. In a four-star review, NME said: “Stitched together by insightful spoken-word interludes from Solange’s parents and rap mogul Master P, ‘A Seat At The Table’ feels deeply personal and thrillingly intimate throughout.”
