Soundgarden share rare track ‘Kristi’ – listen

New boxset 'Echo Of Miles' will be released next week

Soundgarden have unveiled a previously-unheard track called ‘Kristi’.

The song will feature on the Seattle band’s upcoming three-disc box set ‘Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Paths’, a compilation that collects 50 rarities from Soundgarden’s history.

‘Kristi’ was originally recorded during the sessions for their 1996 album ‘Down On The Upside’. Listen below.

The release of ‘Kristi’ comes on the back of ‘Storm’ and ‘Twin Tower’, two other songs unveiled by the band in advance of ‘Echo Of Miles’, which is due for release on November 24.

Pearl Jam and Soundgarden supergroup Temple Of The Dog recently reformed for a Neil Young charity event. Temple Of The Dog were formed by Chris Cornell in 1990 and featured Pearl Jam members Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready, plus frontman Eddie Vedder on backing vocals. The band released their self-titled debut, and only album to date, in April 1991.
