Soundgarden to headline Hard Rock Calling 2012 – ticket details

Reunited grunge band join Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon in headlining London festival

Soundgarden will headline this summer’s Hard Rock Calling festival in London.

The reunited grunge band, who will also perform at this summer’s Download Festival, join Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon in headlining the event.

Hard Rock Calling will run from July 13 – 15, with Soundgarden headlining the opening night (July 13), Bruce Springsteen the second night (July 14) and Paul Simon closing the show on July 15 by performing his classic album ‘Graceland’ in its entirety.

Soundgarden also posted a snippet of a brand new song, which is titled ‘Live To Rise’. The track is set to feature on the soundtrack to the new Hollywood blockbuster The Avengers and can be heard by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

The festival’s supporting bill, which included the likes of The Kills, Kaiser Chiefs, Adam Ant, Frankie And The Heartstrings, Stevie Nicks and Ray Davies in 2011, will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
