Mainman Mark Linkous, Scott Minor and new touring musician Todd Kelly will play a series of shows in July, including a support slot to Beth Gibbons in an outdoor concert at London Somerset House on July 12. It’s expected the band will play some new songs, though the follow-up to 2001’s ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ is not expected until spring 2004. The album is currently being recorded in Hayseville, North Carolina.
The band recently toured with [a][/a] in the USA. On leaving the UK, Sparklehorse
will support REM in Italy from July 22-24 and in the USA from September 23-30.
