Spector’s Fred Macpherson records with original Sugababes line-up

Solange collaborator Dev Hynes is also working with the reformed girl group now known as Mutya Keisha Siobhan

Spector frontman Fred Macpherson has recorded backing vocals on a new track by the original version of Sugababes, who recently regrouped as Mutya Keisha Siobhan.

Macpherson recorded vocals for the trio’s new song ‘Blue’ alongside Solange-collaborator and Blood Orange man Dev Hynes in New York.

Siobhan Donaghy of the group shared a picture of Hynes and Macpherson in the studio earlier today (March 8) via Instagram and Twitter, writing:
