Earlier this month, it was revealed that XXXTentacion was the “surprise guest” on the film’s official soundtrack.

The new animated Marvel movie is soundtracked by the likes of Vince Staples, Nicki Minaj and more. The OST also features a song by Lil Wayne and Ty Dolla $ign titled ‘Afraid of the Dark’. The original track listing for the album noted that the song featured a “special guest”.

Lil Wayne also posted a clip of the song on Instagram, captioning it: “My song ‘Scared Of The Dark’ with @tydollasign (and a surprise special guest!) is on the Spider-Man: Into The @SpiderVerseMovie Soundtrack.”

Meanwhile, the countdown has already begun to the follow-up to Marvel’s 2018 movie Avengers: Infinity War as fans prepare for the end of MCU’s third phase.

A new trailer for Avengers: Endgame arrived earlier this month, showing the return of Hawkeye.
