Listen to Spiritualized’s first new album in six years, ‘And Nothing Hurt’

It's the band's first LP since 2012's 'Sweet Heart Sweet Light'

Spiritualized‘s first new album in over six years, ‘And Nothing Hurt’, is now available to stream online.

The Jason Pierce (AKA J. Spaceman)-led band are returning after a lengthy absence, with the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Sweet Heart Sweet Light’ set to be officially released on September 7.

The new record – which will be Spiritualized’s eighth studio album – has already been promoted with the release of three songs: ‘I’m Your Man’, ‘Perfect Miracle’ and ‘Here It Comes (The Road) Let’s Go’.

Fans can now have their first listen of ‘And Nothing Hurt’ online, with the album currently streaming over on NPR. Speaking to KEXP recently, Pierce explained that he wanted to create a “1960s Columbia Studios recording, but without ever going to the studio to put that thing together”.

“I feel like I found the hardest way to make a record like that. I should have written the songs, gone into the studio, and recorded it. I didn’t do that, for whatever reason. Stupidity.”

You can listen to ‘Here It Comes (The Road) Let’s Go’ above via Spotify, and see the tracklist for ‘And Nothing Hurt’ below.
