Squeeze kick off final day of T In The Park 2009 in the rain

Band treat the early risers to the hits

Squeeze kicked off the final day of musical action at T In The Park at lunchtime today (July 12) in front of a small crowd of early risers.

The London band played a set laden with hits including ‘Up The Junction’ and ‘Cool For Cats’, which had the crowd singing along to every word.

“We love you already, despite the weather,” shouted Chris Difford, shortly after playing ‘Tempted’, which was greeted with a huge cheer from the rain-soaked crowd.

The crowd sang and danced despite the rain lashing down, and were rewarded with an energetic rendition of ‘Cool For Cats’.

“Thank you, you have all been amazing, enjoy the rest of the festival,” said Difford after storming set-closer ‘ Pulling ‘Mussels (From The Shell)’.
