St. Etienne, who were special guests in the NME Signing Tent today, are to play a one-off gig in Dubai – as special guests at the World Speedboat ChamPionships this November.
The Creation band were invited by organisers to play a party, said keyboardist Pete Wiggs. “They said it was a glamorous, James Bond event!”
Singer Sarah Cracknell said: “I’m a bit worried me, and the backing singers are going to be kidnapped and sold into white slavery!”
