Stalker charged after breaking into Rihanna’s home and spending 12 hours inside

Eduardo Leon has been charged in connection with the incident.

A stalker has been charged after he allegedly broke into Rihanna’s home and spent 12 hours inside.

Eduardo Leon has been charged with stalking, first-degree residential burglary, vandalism and resisting arrest.

It is not believed that the singer was at home during the alleged incident in Los Angeles on 9 May.

Leon, who is originally from Fullerton, California, is accused of hopping a fence before entering the singer’s Hollywood Hills home.

He was arrested the next day after being discovered in the property by the singer’s assistant.

Yesterday, he appeared at the Foltz Criminal Justice Centre, and faces a maximum sentence of six years in prison if he is found guilty.

His bail has been set at $135,00 and the Los Angeles Police department are still believed to be investigating the specific details of the case.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Rihanna is working on a reggae inspired album.

In a recent Vogue profile with the singer, writer Chioma Nnandi says that the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Anti’ will be influenced by Bob Marley and the influential record producer Supa Dups; best known for his work with Beenie Man and Sean Paul.

“She plans to make a reggae album,” Nnandi confirmed.

The update comes after the Barbadian artist assured fans that new music was on the way earlier this week.  “She coming sis!” the singer told a fan when they asked about the whereabouts of new material. A source close to Rihanna also claimed that there could well be two new albums on the way.
