Stuart Braithwaite better watch out - after his recent derogatory remarks in the NME it seems they've got a 16-stone bloke after him...

STARSAILOR‘s JAMES WALSH has hit back at MOGWAI‘s STUART BRAITHWAITE, who made comments in NME recently concerning WALSH’s grandmother.

Walsh played an intimate acoustic gig for 50 Starsailor fans at the Heavenly Social in London on June 9, at which he debuted two new songs, ‘Tie Up My Hands’ and ‘She Just Wept’.

The singer was still angered by the Mogwai frontman’s comment made in the May 5 issue of NME – “I think he’d fuckin’ rape his granny for any kind of music award.”

The Starsailor frontman said to the audience, which included his mum, dad, sister and grandmother, “Is Stuart Braithwaite dead yet?” He then asked the 16-stone brother of Starsailor‘s keyboard player to go and sit on Braithwaite’s head.
