The band head to the States before the end of the year - and then return with The Charlatans in early 2002...

STARSAILOR have announced details of their first American tour.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the band were planning a North American jaunt this autumn to preview the release of album ‘Love Is Here’, out Stateside on January 8.

The Wigan outfit will make six stops on the visit and are scheduled to appear on ‘Late Night With Conan O’Brien’ on December 11.

The band will return in the New Year to support The Charlatans on their tour, and make an appearance on The David Letterman Show on January 7.

Capitol Records, the band’s label in the US, have also announced tentative plans for a headlining tour in March of 2002.
