Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks announce August UK tour

The former Pavement frontman and band will play a handful of shows next month

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks will play a short tour of five UK dates in August.

The band will play:

Brighton Old Market (August 25)
Newcastle Riverside (27)
Nottingham Rescue Rooms (28)
End Of The Road Festival (29)
Liverpool Kazimier (30)

The band released their most recent album, ‘Wig Out At Jagbags’, on Domino at the start of the year.

Malkmus has previously hit out at Spotify, expressing his disdain for the service and calling it “evil”. He did, however, then go on to elaborate on the hypocritical nature of his thoughts, adding, “I think it sucks. That doesn’t mean my music isn’t on there, though. I’m against a lot of things that I do in life, and I still do them, so there’s a lot of self-deception in all our lives. At least in the life of an unprincipled musician.”
