The pop sensations follow in the footsteps of luminaries such as Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama...
Steps have been invited to speak at the prestigious OXFORD UNION debating society.
A spokesperson told nme.com that Steps‘ management were currently looking at their schedule to see whether they would be able to fit the debate in.
The group are currently returning from the States where they have been recording their as-yet-untitled third album, which is slated for an October release.
Previous speakers at Oxford Union have included Mother Theresa, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama.
