STEREOPHONICS have announced two major live shows for Summer 2001 – the biggest gigs the band have ever played, NME.COM can reveal.

Under the banner of A Day At The Races, the Phonics will play Donington Racetrack (July 14) and Chepstow Racecourse (21). It’s touted that the two concerts will exceed their 50,000 capacity Morfa Stadium shows of 1999.

Tickets for both concerts will cost £25. Camping is available for both Friday and Saturday nights at an additional cost of £10 per person for both nights at both sites which is payable at the time of ticket booking (this includes weekend parking).
